Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that despite Turkey\u2019s worsening economic situation, there has been a rightwing Islamic pull in the victory of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that the voters would rather have their Islam than the goodies of life. It will now be clear that Turkey will become a major Islamic country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former Premier Imran Khan had strengthened his alliance with Turkey and Mr. Erdogan. He had also moved his policy towards Russia, may be at the behest of Mr. Erdogan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this policy Mr. Khan had tried to over shadow Saudi Arabia, which is the perennial bread giver to Islamic Pakistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, Saudi Arabia with its deep links to the powers that be in Islamic Pakistan had Mr. Imran Khan shifted out.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequent to Mr. Imran Khan\u2019s ouster, the present regime is back into the pocket of Saudi Arabia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Mr. Erdogan has deep links to Russia then he must have his country\u2019s relations with Syria, which is beholden to Russia, settled.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To check Russian advance into Europe, Mr. Erdogan must remove his veto to Sweden embracing NATO. That will give Mr. Erdogan a bit of neutrality in the eyes of the West.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Mr. Erdogan is now on the pigs back with an Islamic shot in the arm, he will have to face two problems where the Muslims are under threat, have no democracy and fundamental rights. These two areas are Kashmir and Sinkiang in Communist China.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As far as the expectation of Hindutva leaders is concerned, that Turkey would have improved relations with THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State), the chances look bleak as the Hindu state is persecuting the Muslims, minorities, Schedule Castes and Tribal\u2019s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From our party\u2019s view, we wish Mr. Erdogan will and hope that amongst his policy preservation of Human Rights would make a deep imprint on his foreign outlook.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present the minorities, the schedule castes and tribal\u2019s are facing the brunt of the Hindutva states ire.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good luck to President Erdogan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
