This is a report from the Times of India entitled \u201cDalit groom forced off horse by upper castes, women guests molested in Agra\u201d dated 11th May 2023 which states that a schedule caste groom was not allowed to ride a horse on his wedding by the upper caste Hindus who belong to the Thakur or Rajput caste.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>These upper caste Thakur\u2019s also bashed into the wedding party and molested the groom\u2019s female relatives.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>Therefore, the US Commission on International Religious Freedom is correct in stating that there are human and religious right violations in the Hindu Indian state.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>It is regretted that the US Department of State is not taking action as advised by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>Such discrimination against the schedule caste is akin to apartheid and stems from the Hindu text Manusmriti which is an ancient legal text or Dharmashastra of Hinduism.
