{"id":11940,"date":"2023-04-21T12:48:58","date_gmt":"2023-04-21T07:18:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/akalidalamritsar.in\/?p=11940"},"modified":"2023-04-21T12:48:58","modified_gmt":"2023-04-21T07:18:58","slug":"press-statement-of-simranjit-singh-mann-member-of-parliament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/akalidalamritsar.in\/?p=11940","title":{"rendered":"Press statement of Simranjit Singh Mann, Member of Parliament,"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Press statement of Simranjit Singh Mann, Member of Parliament,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Dated 21st April 2023 Camp Jalandhar,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>According to the Geneva Conventions of War to which the Hindu Indian state is a signatory, Sikh troops cannot be sent into areas where there is internal strife.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>As the Hindu Indian state has not made a declaration of war in Jammu and Kashmir, the Sikh Soldiers who have lost there lives are against these principles of war.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>As such, the Hindu Indian state owes an explanation to the Sikh\u2019s as to why the Sikh troops were sent in to an area of internal strife?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our party states that all Sikh warriors who have lost their lives, their families should compensated by giving each family an award Rs.15 crore each as a precedent of the Kargil war where each soldier who gave his life, his family was compensated with the grant of petrol-diesel station of a Gas Agency.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This largess should also be extended to these warriors families.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Children who have lost their warrior parents should be educated at state cost in Army Public Schools at Nabha or Kapurthala.
