Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that we are sorry that General Bipin Rawat died in a helicopter crash. We fail to understand why the Pilots of this flying machine did not raise it vertically when they were about to hit a black spot which impaired their vision.
As regards General Rawat\u2019s secular credentials there are great suspicions within the minorities.
As far as promoting General Naravane to the post of CDS we do not think that Generals need to be promoted to a higher rank when they have failed to keep the integrity of their country and let in Communist China\u2019s PLA which has captured 900 Sq. Kms. of Ladakh territory. For this matter we think even General Rawat should not have been promoted to the rank of CDS as he too failed to keep Communist China\u2019s PLA out of Ladakh territory.
We also fail to understand why the Chief\u2019s of intelligence and the Union Home Secretary have been given extension in their respective services as they all failed to intercept Communist China\u2019s designs in adding to its territory in Ladakh as already the Hindu Indian state had surrendered 39,000Sq. Kms of Ladakh territory in 1962.
We must add that Ladakh was annexed by the Lahore Darbar( Sikh Empire 1799-1849) in 1834 and as Sikh\u2019s we mind the loss of this territory.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
