Press Statement of Simranjit Singh Mann, Member of Parliament.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Party Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) is amazed that Parliament which convened for the Budget Session on 13th March has not worked for a day since then.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The treasury and the opposition Members are fighting and using unparliamentary language against one another.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The leaders of the Opposition and the treasury are not attending any session of Parliament.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Oath the Opposition and ruling party officials have issue to their Members to attend Parliament and create a ruckus till Parliament is adjourned on a daily basis. But the leaders of both the factions absent themselves from Parliament. which means they are irresponsible.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Speaker has not called any meeting of the rivals, neither have the leaders of the Opposition and treasury bench\u2019s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It is apparent that democracy is failing the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If Parliamentary Government collapses as a result, it would be clear for the ruling Party will govern without a Parliament fallowing the examples of Indira Gandhi, Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We may be in a fascist trap hereafter. In the Punjab mass arrests of Sikh political leaders are taking place, the reason of this fascism is not clear.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As far as Mr. Rahul Gandhi is concerned he has only said in London that democracy is in danger, London and UK are the home of democracy. So what is wrong if where democracy was gone Mr. Gandhi as felt it is in danger?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This is a lame excuse for the Union Government to shut Parliament.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As a Sikh Member of Parliament we have no quarrel with democracy. It is the right wing radicalised Hindutva Parties that are against democracy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We hope better sense prevails and the Treasury and the Opposition leaders begin to trust democracy and make it work, otherwise they will earn a bad name as leader who have destroyed democracy now and in the past.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Simranjit Singh Mann, Fascists take over our Parliament.
