Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it is quite embarrassing to see the Hindu Indian Premier Nerandra Modi dressed so shabbily. In the top pocket of his Nehru Jacket he is displaying his fountain pen, which a well – dressed gentleman does not show.
We think any Foreign Service officer who has studied at Oxford or Cambridge University should supervise his dressing when on a foreign tour or meeting dignitaries from abroad when they come visiting the Hindu Indian state.
Now that inflation has risen it is not possible that his suits and clothes can be tailored at Savile Row, but when the rupee finds its feet, as it is at a down swing presently, perhaps Premier Modi will find it worthwhile going to Savile Row.
