Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that during Mr. Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the United State there was a cry and demand for an independent and sovereign state of Khalistan.

Khalistan is the zeitgeist of the time. Its time has come. There is no point of the Hindu Indian state in complaining to foreign capitals to check the Sikhs from this demand.

It would be statesmanship like for the present Union Hindutva Government to give this issue a serious thought and begin talks with the Sikhs for the creating of a Sikh buffer state between Islamic Pakistan, Communist Chain and Hindu India.
