We need to revive the depleted number of house sparrows and the Cheetah. But the odds against the Cheetah are that it can only be revived if it is reintroduced from a non Islamic and non Black country. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that our Party is happy that the Indian Express is taking an interest in the wild life of our region. It is a positive sign that we want to bring back the vultures, which have almost disappeared. We are anxious to know how the vultures reared in captivity will take to the wilds, meaning their diet and nesting?
We would suggest that the Punjab Government also sets up a centre at Chhat Bir to bring back the house sparrow which has also disappeared.
We were informed that the Union Government was on the verge of re- introducing the Cheetah, which has become extinct. We believe that the Cheetah of Iran was the closest in its genes to the Indian sub – Continent species. But since the coming of the right wing radicalized BJP – RSS Union Government the proposal was shelved as Iran is an Islamic country and a wild species from such a country would not be tolerated by the radicalize population in this country.
The other place where the Cheetah survives is in South West Africa and we are sure that since in this region there is not much of an Islamic population, we could have the species from that region brought here and introduced in this country.
However, there is a hitch in this case too as Africa is inhabited by the Black population. Our BJP – RSS Union Government, because of its racist attitude, this would also not meet with the approval of Premier Nerandra Modi’s Union Government. The reason is that the BJP – RSS does not approve of the Blacks as its doctrine is that the Indian sub – Continent is inhabited largely by the Aryans and the coloured original indigenous population was as per the Hindu religious books, the Laws of Manu and the Manusmriti has already categorized the indigenous people, because of their colour into the fourth class of its caste system. This coloured population has the nomenclature of the Shudra. In this hierarchy the Bhramin takes the first place followed by Kshatriya’s, third the Viashya’s and at the bottom the Shudhra.
But what we have heard in the common parlance of the rural areas, the house sparrow is considered by the devout Hindu and the BJP – RSS lot that the sparrow is very Brahminacal. Therefore, as per the rigid caste system, we think the sparrow has a better chance of being revived, than the Cheetah, which has odds against it as its reintroduction would have to come from an Islamic or a black populated country or area. Both anathema to the devout Hindu and BJP – RSS, which calls the shots in the executive, legislature, judiciary and the press.
