The Sikh nation will never agree to the partisan farm laws and now NEP of the extremist radicalized Hindutva BJP – RSS Union Governments policies. We stand for participation in all policy matters. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the Sikh’s since the foundation of their religion and nation, they have remained a separate nation. They have their separate territory, though at this stage of their history they are stateless but nevertheless struggling to have their separate national state. The Sikh’s have their separate language and alphabet. Their culture, history and tradition is separate. Their school of art, painting and architecture are separate. Their history of victory and suffering is separate.
With all this exclusiveness our Party wonders how the right wing radicalized Hindu BJP – RSS Union Government of Premier Nerandra Modi has framed the National Education Policy – 2020 without the participation of the Sikh’s in the making of this right wing Hindutva education policy? Our Party rejects this new policy.
Similarly in the passage of the farm laws, the Sikh’s were never consulted by the BJP – RSS Union Government which has framed the farm laws with no knowledge of the rural areas. These farm laws have been framed by the urban Hindu trader and businessmen and the same Hindu corporate sector. This is the reason why these new legislations by the BJP – RSS Union Government have fallen flat. The Punjab farmer who has spread his wings into Haryana, UP, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan has revolted against these farm laws:
1) The Farmer (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020.
2) The Farmer Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020.
3) The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill, 2020.
1) The Occupational Safety Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020.
2) The Industrial Relations Code,2020,which will weaken the economy and the country will fail to be a self sufficient producer of grain.
At the present moment 14% of the population of the country suffers from mal – nutrition and in some regions the poverty stricken citizens have no food at all. This was seen recently when BJP – RSS Union Government of Premier Nerandra Modi ordered a countrywide Lockdown. There are pictures and documentaries of thousands of indigent labourers marching home without food, shelter and transport. Such scenes were seen in 1947 when the British Indian Government agreeing with Gandhi, Nehru and Jinnah ordered the partition of the Sikh Homeland the Punjab by drawing the Radcliffe Line that split the Punjab province. We have not seen the migration of millions since then, but only now in the Hindutva radicalized regime of the BJP – RSS.
Why the Hindu Indian state does not want to consult the Sikh’s in the affairs that concern them is pure majoritarian bullying, which as per Sikh psyche will never jell. As such the Sikh’s though stateless at this juncture of their history will always remain a separate and sui generis nation.
Facta non Verba.
