Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the Kartarpur Sahib corridor between Islamic Pakistan and Hindu India has given hope to the pessimists that these two Hindu and Islamic countries can come to terms if there is an independent and sovereign Sikh state which acts as a buffer between them.
Guru Nanak Sahib founded the Sikh religion and ordained that Sikhs are neither Muslims nor Hindus. As such the two warring nations would be best served to have the Sikh sovereign state as a buffer which would, between Islamic Pakistan, Communist China and Hindu India prevent a nuclear war. Peace would reign supreme for all times to come in South Asia so that the impoverished nations in the Indian sub-continent eradicate poverty and ignorance for all times to come.
