The post of CDS was created by the lobbying of the military. Now the military should rue the day they had this post created. General Rawat is a tool of the Hindu extremist and radicalised state. The snakes devour their own offsprings. Simranjit Singh Mann

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it was the voices of the military that wanted to create the post of Chief of Defence Staff. The Hindu state which has no military tradition, as such the non-military politicians and bureaucrats fell in line with the voices of the military to create this post. General Bipin Rawat got this post when we knew that Gen. Rawat did not have the capacity to do justice to this post as he was a foot soldier of the extreme, radicalised Hindu BJP-RSS party and its Union Government of Premier Narinder Modi. Now the lobbying done by the military for Gen. Rawat being elevated to the post of CDS should lament the day they raised their voices for this white elephant.
The other lobbying by the military to create theatre commands is also naive. The Hindu state wants to copy the USA and China models. In World War-II there were only two theatre commands of the Allies that being Europe and the Pacific. The present commands of the three services are sufficient but since 1947 these commands have been killing and destroying their own peoples like in Operation Blue Star, subsequently the genocide of the Sikhs by Rajiv Gandhi Government in 1984 and now the use of the military by the BJP-RSS Union Government in the North-East, Jammu-Kashmir and the Central Indian states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Chattishgarh, Maharashtra.
Presently the military in Ladakh has ceded more territory to Communist China since April this year, whereas in 1962 it surrendered 39 Thousand Sq. Kms. to Communist China. It must not be forgotten that Ladakh was annexed by the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799-1849) in 1834 and made an integral part of the Sikh Empire.
Today we see no Sikh in the Union Cabinet of Premier Narinder Modi. We see no Sikh as Secretary in the Union Government. We see no Sikh Officer in the military. All we see is repression of the Sikhs in the Punjab by the BJP-RSS extremist Hindu Union Government.
