The Navy is a blue water force. The coast guards are responsible for guarding coastal waters. A third layer of security needs to be created that guards the shore waters where all criminal activity takes place. Simranjit Singh Mann.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the Coast Guard patrols the coastal waters, whereas the Navy is a blue water military force. Between the blue waters and the coastal waters, there are no patrols on the waters of the shores where criminal activity takes place in smuggling and supply of drugs and other dangerous items. Therefore, it would be a good proposal to create a force like the BSF which guards the frontiers that will hug the coast on strong armoured speed boats. This force could come under the Union Ministry of Shipping. This will create three barriers on the coast line, the first blue water Navy, the second guarding the coastal waters and the third the shore line and close to the land mass. Without these three layers of security our party does not think that effective control of trespassers, pirates and smugglers can be kept. The Hindus have never in their history had a state of their own, save for the legendry and mythical state of Ayodhya. Since they have a state since 1947, they have to be guided in matters of security.
Facta non Verba.
