The Judiciary from the bottom to the top (Supreme Court) has seized to be an independent pillar of the state. It has dissolved itself into the Executive and the Legislature. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it is obvious that the Judiciary is playing ducks and drakes with the Saini case, on partisan and communal grounds.
Since Mr. Saini has committed grave and horrendous crimes much like the Nazi’s in Germany did in World War II, it is shameful behaviour on the part of the Judiciary to order the postponement of his arrest, when three police colleagues of his have turned approvers and given their statements in a judicial court before a magistrate.
If such a behaviour of the Judiciary continues, we think like the Supreme Court where important writ petitions lie pending like the abrogation of articles 370 and 35 A and laws passed by the extremist BJP – RSS Union Government led by Premier Modi like CAA (Citizen Amendment Act), NRC ( National Registers of Citizen’s) and NPR (National Population Register) and the barbaric law AFSPA(Armed Forces Special Powers Act), all these trespasses by the Judiciary from the bottom to the very highest Supreme Court will have serious consequences on the political theory that there should be a division of power between the three pillars of the state – they being the Judiciary, Executive and the Legislature.
The manner in which the Judiciary is functioning and behaving in the cases mentioned above, a time has come when we can say one pillar of the state, the Judiciary has dissolved itself into the other two pillars of the state, they being the Executive and the Legislature.
We think it is time that the Judges from the bottom to the top, the Supreme Court should begin thinking of their demise and the disgrace they have brought to the Constitution that made the Judiciary a separate and an independent pillar of the state.
