Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that our Party has known from day one that since April this year the Hindu Indian state has surrendered about hundreds of Sq. kms. of Ladakh territory to Communist China.
In 1962, the Hindu Indian state surrendered 39,000 Sq. Kms. of territory in Ladakh to Communist China. There is a resolution of Parliament that the Hindu state will not rest till the last inch of its surrendered territory is recovered.
Historically it was the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799 – 1849) that annexed Ladakh in 1834. The same Lahore Darbar annexed Kashmir in 1819 from the Afghan’s as Kashmir then was a province of Afghanistan. In 1849, the British annexed the Sikh Empire and all the Sikh territories were made a part of the British Empire, including Kashmir and Ladakh.
When the British gave up their Indian Empire in 1947 to the Hindu’s who became master’s of India and the Muslim’s got Pakistan, the territories of Kashmir and Ladakh became territories of THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State). However, it is a pity and a shame that the Hindu Indian state has not been able to keep its inheritance Kashmir and Ladakh in one piece.
Even today the territory Hindu India has recently surrendered to Communist China since April this year the extremist Hindu BJP – RSS Union Government led by Premier Nerandra Modi has not been able to tell us exactly how much territory has been surrendered in Ladakh since April this year. We would have thought that the truth would come out in the present Parliamentary Monsoon Session in progress currently. It is unfortunate that the opposition parties in Parliament have not succeeded in fathoming the truth from the BJP – RSS Union Government. Perhaps since this is a shame, the opposition parties whose composition is of Hindu’s do not want to embarrass their own majoritarian kinsmen and bring a bad name to Hindutva.
Our Party would want to see the maps of Ladakh of 1834 when it became an integral part of the Sikh Empire. We would also like to see the maps of British India after 1913 -14 when the Tibetans and Chinese signed the McMahan Line. After that we would want to see the map of Ladakh of 1947 – 48, subsequently after the Chinese conquest of 39,000 Sq Kms. of Ladakh territory and presently the accurate, the actual map of Ladakh under Hindu Indian rule to the present day, that being mid September of this year. Then only we can tell accurately how much Ladakh territory has been ceded to Communist China. It is a shame for us Sikh’s to say this as it was the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799 – 1849) that annexed both Kashmir and Ladakh which the Hindu state has not been capable of defending these territories and keeping them in one piece.
