Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that our Party opposes extra judicial murders of innocent people on the Indo – Punjab Border, the BSF claiming the two persons killed were Pakistani’s. How did the BSF (Border Security Force) Come to know that these so called – trespassers were Pakistani’s as they were not arrested or interrogated, but shot dead on sight? The armed or paramilitary forces do not have the right and authority to kill or murder any person whether he be a Pakistani or an Indian. Our Party’s experience is that such so called intruders are shot dead because they are Muslim’s and not Pakistani’s.
The Hindu Indian state has diplomatic relations with Islamic Pakistan. Therefore, the Islamic Pakistani’s cannot be called enemies of the Hindu Indian state. This is a great diplomatic crime.
The Constitution, its article 21 is clearly states that no person can be deprived of his life and liberty without following the procedure laid down by law. Therefore, we request the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the Supreme Court and the National Human Rights Commission to take suo moto action on these barbaric and uncivilised killings amounting to extra judicial murders forthwith by the BSF (Border Security Force).
Facta non Verba.
