Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that Our Party is of the opinion that if there are military to military talks between Communist China and the Hindu Indian state, these can only fructify if the Hindu state has a commanding economy vis a vis Communist China’s.
If and when this comes about the Hindu state needs to replenish its weaponry of which 67 percent is obsolete.
It must shed off its image of being a majoritarian Hindutva state. The armed forces must be strictly secular and step out of their respective cantonments when Governments order the massacres of their minorities.
The armed forces must remain on the borders and protect them. Adversaries creep beyond the Hindu state’s borders when the armed forces are deployed and are fighting their own peoples and citizens.
Generals and senior officers of the three arms must never accept sinecures. They must step out of their retirement like the great Roman General Cincinnatus when the state calls for them, having performed that duty, they must step back into retirement.
If Islamic Pakistan sponsors terrorism, the military must stop state terrorism of its own country. The minorities in THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) must never live under the shadow of state terrorism.
General Naravane must intervene effectively with the Union Government led by Premier Nerandra Modi and reach a honourable settlement with the farmers sitting in protest in Delhi and on its borders.
The reason is that 90 percent of servicemen come from the rural areas. The cruelty of the harsh winter and the obduracy of the Union Government in not settling the differences with the farmers is having an adverse effect on the soldiers and officers of the armed forces.
The comfort and welfare of the soldiers must be the top priority of the three Chiefs – Army, Navy and Air Force.
Facta non Verba.
