Sikh’s want the Supreme Court to decide the Babri Masjid issue fairly and judicially –Sikh Gurudawara’s destroyed in Jagan Nath Puri and Haridwar need to be restored. Sauce for the goose must be sauce for the gander. – Simranjit Singh Mann.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this review of the Supreme Court’s Judgment needs a relook as it is not fair to pull down an ancient monument of the minority Muslims. This is simply vandalism which the Supreme Court has unfortunately over looked. There should have been a Sikh Judge in the bench that decided this complex case. For example, the Archeology Department did not find a Hindu Temple below the Babri Masjid which the fanatic fringe of the extremist Hindu’s led by Mr LK Advani, Mr Joshi, Mr Kalyan Singh were sure that there was such a temple below the mosque. The Supreme Court has reported that even Guru Nanak Sahib visited the Hindu Temple. But Guru Nanak Sahib travelled all over Asia and even visited Jagan Nath Temple where a Sikh Gurudwara stood. But that Gurudwara has recently been pulled down by the Government. Guru Nanak Sahib’s visit to Haridwar is also commemorated by a Gurudwara which was pulled down in 1984 by fanatic Hindu forces unleashed by the Union Government headed by late Rajiv Gandhi. If the Supreme Court can decide to give the Babri Masjid to the Hindu’s on the fact that Guru Nanak Sahib visited Ayodhya then it logically follows that the Gurudwara’s in Jagan Nath Puri and Haridwar should be restored.
And the Supreme Court needs to adjudicate the barbaric action of the Indra Gandhi Government in sending armed troops into the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple at Amritsar) in an uncivilized military action code name Operation Bluestar. The armed forces robbed the Golden Temple treasury and the Sikh Reference Library, thus stealing our precious artifacts and committed the crime of memoricide, besides mayhem and taking up arms against the stateless Sikh peoples. We want fairness from the Supreme Court as under article 14 we Sikh’s are as equal to the majority Hindu’s.
