Rafale a good acquisition but cannot compete with the Chinese Sukhoi Su 35 and Changdu J- 20. There is a big vacuum in the Hindu states armaments. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that while a great shortage of air force squadrons exists, the full order of Rafale jets arriving will take another three years. The five Rafale that have arrived will take time to become operational as the Pilots, Engineers and Mechanics will have to become familiar with these flying machines. However, the Rafale is not a stealth jet fighter and will not be able to compete on equal terms with Communist China’s Sukhoi Su 35 and its indigenous produced Chengdu J- 20 stealth fighter jet. This very J – 20 is also with the Islamic Pakistan’s air force. Therefore, with the induction of the Rafale, the Hindu state’s air force will not be able to meet the challenge, if there is a three front war.
Our party is perplexed about the high esteem Russian armaments are held by the Hindu strategists who influence the Hindu state’s Government. If these Hindu strategists are so confident about the Russian armaments, we ask why the Russians have not given the Hindu state their stealth Sukhoi Su 35. Defence Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh was in Moscow recently and he could only get about a dozen Sukhoi Su 30’s.
The Sikh’s are a minority in THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) and after 1947 we had one of the four important Union Ministries amongst the following – Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, Finance Affairs and Defence Affairs. But in 1999 when the BJP – RSS Union Government was formed under Premier Vajaypee, it was perhaps the first time that a Sikh minister was not appointed in these four Union Ministries. I was a Member of Parliament then and I protested, but my protest only helped the Sikh’s get a minor Ministry of Fertilizer and Mr. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa got this irrelevant portfolio in the Union Cabinet. Since the Modi Union Government has come into power, the Sikhs have been relegated to insignificance and have the Cabinet post of Food Processing Industry. In Premier Modi’s Cabinet Committee on Security there is no Sikh member. As such the present Union Cabinet is strictly manned by right wing Hindu Nationalists. The world will get a taste of it when Premier Modi lays the foundation stone of a Hindu Temple on the site of the Islamic Babri Masjid at Ayodhya on 5th August, 2020. It will cause a great upheaval in the Islamic and civilized circles.
Coming back to the French Rafale Jet, the Sikh’s wonder why the liberal French do not allow the Sikh’s to wear their traditional head gear the Turban in educational institutions and Government Jobs. The French say they are strictly secular. If that is the reason we ask why do the French in official and private life wear the neck tie which is a symbol of Jesus Christ’s crucification?
Moreover, we ask the French that during the course of World War I and II when Germany had occupied France, battalions of Sikh Forces fought against Germany, Italy and Japan and liberated France and other countries. While giving their lives for librating France Sikh soldiers wore their traditional head gear – The Turban. These Sikh Soldiers lie in Common wealth cemeteries all over Europe, Asia and Africa. The question that irks us Sikh’s is that if the Sikhs could liberate France by donning their Turbans, why they cannot get admissions into educational institutions in France and hold jobs in the corridors of Government? Unfortunately the Hindu state has not supported the Sikh’s on the issue of their traditional head gear the Turban.
In the end, the Rafale is a good acquisition but sadly it will not be able to compete on equal terms with the Chinese Sukhoi Su 35 and Changdu J- 20.
