Non – alignment the only Foreign Policy that the Hindu state had was tied to the apron strings of the Soviet Union, now Russia. – Simranjit Singh Mānn
The Tribune Dated 29th July, 2020
Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that since the birth of the Hindu state in 1947, foreign policy has solely been in the hands of Hindu extremists.
The author and The Tribune talk about non – alignment as a policy. In fact THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) never practiced non alignment as this policy was strictly attached to the apron strings of the Soviet Union.
It failed miserably in the 1962 war with Communist China. Soviets did not come to the aid of the Hindu state but the USA and Britain did.
Even today when the Hindu state is in trouble with Communist China which has seized more territory in Ladakh, the Russians have preferred to give the Chinese the stealth fighter jet Sukhoi Su 35 but on the special asking of the Hindu state they have only committed to give it twelve Sukhoi Su 30’s
The Hindu state has not supported the Sikhs in its Foreign policy and while acquiring 36 Rafale fighter jets and submarines from France has not asked France to honour its secular policy of allowing the Sikh’s to wear their traditional head gear – The Turban.
The Shriomani Akali Dal (Amritsar) has a grouse. Sikh’s nurse their grouses over years and years.
