Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) condemns stripping a Hindu naked. At the same time the Sikh’s will not succumb to illegitimate and dictatorial Hindu rule. – Simranjit Singh Mānn
The Tribune Dated 31st March, 2021

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it does not lie in the Sikh theology or practice to strip any person naked and display his cloth-less body to the public or the camera’s. It is a despicable act. The Sikh Guru’s have preached that the human race is equal no matter what the religion, caste, colour, creed and race may be. Therefore to strip Mr. Arun Narang naked publically is an intolerable act. It goes against Sikh divinity.
During my five years of solitary confinement in various jails (1984-1989), I have also personally been humiliated and stripped naked by the authorities of the Congress party Rajiv Gandhi regime.
At Kathu Nangal Gurudwara Sahib in 2006 our Party demonstrated against the Parkash Singh Badal faction of the Akali Dal. The SGPC an elected body of the entire Sikh nation had organized a grand function to honour the memory of BABA Budha Ji, a great Sikh divine. But Mr. Badal, Mr. Sukhbir Singh and Mr. Bikram Singh Majathia had organized their youth wing and their petty gangsters to oppose our Party’s presence at the function. Nevertheless our Party marched peacefully to the venue of the holy shrine. Mr. Majathia had arranged from his family’s financial resources the rowdy elements to stop our Party’s presence. They fired shots into the air to scare our Party’s advance. When that attempt failed they attacked our Party with weapons, for which our Party was not prepared. Some of these ruffians went for our Turbans and in the melee my Turban also flew over rendering me Turban less. This according to the Sikh way of life is a great unforgiveable offence. Though the then Congress Government took no notice but generally this insult caused a great upheaval in the minds of the Sikh’s at large. Mr. Badal, Mr. Sukhbir Singh and Mr. Majathia responsible for this insult are bearing the consequences to this day as the Punjab and Union Government ordered an unprecedented Police cordon around them all twenty four hours and continuously to this day. They have a Z plus security cordon guarding them day and night, which destroys their piece of mind and their privacy. They live in a mobile prison.
However, when our Party condemns the Malaut incident, we are forced to state that after 1947 the Hindu having become the ruler of Hindu India has become cocky and arrogant. He has lost all respect for democracy and the Constitution. The Sikh’s and minorities are treated like second class citizens. Killing the minorities in extra judicial murders with impunity is the order of the day. In 2002, Mr. Nerandra Modi then Chief Minister of Gujarat had over 2000 Muslims massacred in cold blood. In that same capacity in 2013, he had 60,000 Sikh farmers ousted from their legitimately held farm lands in Gujarat. In 2019, he as Premier over turned the Constitutional rights of the Kashmiri people and reduced the status of their State of the Union to an Union Territory. Their legislature has been dissolved. Kashmir is a Muslim majority state.
On the visit of former President Donald Trump in February 2020, the Minority Commission of Delhi reports that Mr. Modi’s Union Home Minister Amit Shah unleashed the riots in Delhi in which countless Muslims were killed, with the Delhi Police aiding the fanatic Hindu mobs.
In 2000, during the BJP- RSS rule under Premier AB Vajaypee the army in Jammu and Kashmir had the audacity of massacring 43 Sikh’s in cold blood in Village Chitthisinghpura. This incident took place when former US President Clinton was visiting South Asia. We do not understand the rational of the Hindu Indian state resorting to massacres of minorities when US Presidents visit Hindu India?
This bias and animosity of the Hindu theocratic state has affected the independence and impartiality of the Press and Media. For instance, The Tribune will never print the news, article or letter of a Sikh whom it thinks has not submitted to the sovereignty of the Hindu Indian state. The Sikh’s who disclaim their separate identity and nationality will find their articles in print in this newspaper. The eligible Sikh writers, who find their print in this newspaper, invariably have to write off their Sikh suffix – Singh in their respective names. Efforts are also made by this press while printing the name of a Sikh to omit their Sikh National suffix – Singh. The situation here in Hindu India is no less tormenting and unbearable for the minorities as the Western democracies paint of Sinkiang in Communist China and the Uyghur Muslim minority there.
We do lament the BJP- RSS ultranationalist Union Government of Premier Nerandra Modi in not looking into the over hundred day peaceful protest of the farmers while the BJP- RSS legislators are recklessly touring the agitated farm states of Haryana and Punjab and stirring up emotions to hurt our communal harmony, but that again should not be an excuse to strip them naked, which is definitely not the Sikh way of life. The Hindu majority in a democracy must take the minority along with it and not expect it to go along with it. The arrogant Hindu wants to devour the minorities into its omnivorous belly. The Sikh’s have borne this tyranny of the past Moghal, Afghan, British empires and will stick their heads out to defy the present unbearable Hindu rule. We will not give in.
Facta non Verba.
