The Editor, The Tribune,
Please refer to the news item “High on Panthic agenda, Cong has SAD on back foot” of your newspapers 3rd August 2018. It is unfortunate that your newspaper continues to call us Sikh’s Radicals and belittle the crime of genocide, ethnic cleansing and lynching perpetrated on the Sikh people’s by stating it was the “use of force” as described by your newspaper. These are abominable crimes against humanity which were committed by the Axis powers during World War II. These crimes have also been described by the UN as crimes against humanity which are to be tried at the International Criminal Court at the Hague. These are the very crimes committed by THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) on the Sikh peoples.
It is evident that your newspaper is bent upon creating a wide wedge between the Hindu’s and Sikh’s. Your newspaper permits itself to use the word terrorism to describe the Sikh struggle for freedom and liberty.
If the Sikh’s as per your newspapers description of our characteristics are radicals, hardliners, terrorists and extremists then you as per our right for equality must permit us to draw out the characteristics of Hindu’s which JS Mill the political thinker wrote that the Hindu’s are devious by nature.
If your newspaper believes in the freedom of thought and expression then I would think this piece of mine would be printed in your newspapers column. This would settle the score and I would then end by stating that the sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
