It is shameful of the Hindu Indian state to exclude Punjabi as an Official Language of Kashmir. It must look back in history to know that it was the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799 – 1849) that annexed Kashmir in 1819.- Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that not including Punjabi in the Kashmir language list, the Hindu state is doing great injustice to the Sikh’s and Punjabi’s in that state.
We want to remind the Hindu Indian state that the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799 – 1849) annexed Kashmir in 1819 from Afghanistan of which it was a province. Even today the Hindu state has not kept Kashmir as a whole and Ladakh which was annexed by the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799 – 1849) in 1834 has not been kept as a whole. In 1961, the Hindu state surrendered 39,000 Sq. Kms of its territory to Communist China. Since April this year the Hindu state has surrendered more territory to Communist China.
