Hunting down rare species for their aphrodisiac qualities brings shame. The hunters of the Houbara and rhinoceros should know that the cat is out of the bag and further killings will reveal inner secrets. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that our Party requests Islamic Pakistan to place a moratorium on hunting this bird – Asian Houbara. The Arabian Princes must be told politely that Islamic Pakistan is saving this bird for the future pleasure of the Princes, as it is on the verge of extinction like the Dodo.
We are positive that the Foreign Office of Islamic Pakistan is capable of stopping the hunting of this species as we have in the past learnt that the authorities of this state had caught a bunch of traders who were stealing falcons from this country.
In this context we would also ask the Hindu Indian Government to put a moratorium on the hunting of the Rajasthan bastard and the rhinoceros.
We are told the Arab Princes hunt the Asian Houbara as its meat has aphrodisiac qualities. This would mean that these Princes have poor vitality, which is not a quality to be published as it shows the Princes in poor light. Now there are chemical drugs to improve vitality. These should be consumed as such a practice would be kept confidential.
In this country the rhinoceros is hunted as the Chinese believe that its horn has aphrodisiac qualities. If the Chinese and Arabian Princes believe that the Houbara bustard and the horn of the rhinoceros has aphrodisiac qualities then if now this secret is out, then it is obvious the Arabs and the Chinese have little potency. If this is the case then we wonder why the Hindu Indian state is scared of facing an Islamic and Chinese threat.
The BJP- RSS leadership after this revelation should don its khaki knickers, pickup their respective batons and be up at the front in Ladakh.
