Good act of the Government but Chief Minister must also fulfill the promise made by holding a Sikh breviary that the Badal’s and Saini would be arrested for acts of sacrilege of the Sikh religion.-Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that in the three year rule of the Congress Government in the Punjab, this is the best decision the Government has taken. We ask the Chief Minister that while holding a Sikh prayer breviary in his hand he had sworn to take criminal action against Mr. Parkash Singh Badal, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and Mr. Sumed Saini for the acts of sacrilege they committed against the Sikh Guru Granth Sahib at Bargari. Chief Minister has not kept his word despite the fact that he took this oath three years ago. Then on 9th December 2018 his two Cabinet Minister Mr. Bajwa and Mr. Randhawa swore before the Guru Granth Sahib and the Sikh sangat at Bargari that they would set all Sikh Political Prisoners free on 12th November 2019 and the three criminals mentioned above would be arrested, but sad to say that none of these promises have been fulfilled. We hope the Congress Government would fulfill its promises as they were made before the Guru Granth Sahib and the Sikh sangat.
