FATF must investigate stateless militant’s terrorism along with the state terrorism of the Hindu Indian state. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it is sad that the CRPF constables were killed by the stateless militants as the charge sheet of the National Investigation Agency indicates. But in this civil strife, the Hindu Indian security forces are also killing Kashmiri’s in extra judicial murders. The barbaric law AFSPA(Armed Forces Special Powers Act) in operation in this state gives the security forces a free hand to kill, murder, kidnap, abduct, maim, molest and rape, keep in illegal custody or create disappearances of any person with impunity. The Constitution of which the Supreme Court is the defender, its article 21 states that no person will be deprived of his life and liberty without following the laid down law.
It is good that FATF in Paris is doing its job of finding out monies being doled out to such groups who deal in terrorist acts. But our Party states that the sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Then FATF should also keep in mind and take punitive steps against the Hindu Indian state which is indulging itself in committing heinous crimes against civilians.
In 2000, the Hindu Indian state’s Army massacred 43 innocent Sikh’s in Village Chithisinghpura in Kashmir, on the eve of the then President Bill Clintons visit to South Asia. Former President Clinton’s Secretary of State Ms. Madeleine Albrights Memoirs particularly mention this massacre at the hands of the Hindu Indian states Army.
Moreover, we Sikh’s as a stateless people wish to put up our case before the FATF that since 1947 the Sikh’s have been the victims of the abominable crimes of Genocide, Memoricide, Vandalism and Ethnocide perpetrated by the Hindu Indian state, all with impunity.
Therefore, we appeal to FATF to investigate the monies of the Hindu Indian state that is spent on committing these horrendous crimes against humanity. After all if Islamic Pakistan is spending its resources on support of guerillas, it is also true that the Hindu Indian state is indulging itself in state terrorism against its own minorities, schedule castes, Adivasis or Tribal’s and ethnic peoples.
It is only just to call a spade a spade. We will be grateful to FATF if it launches a serious investigation into acts of state terrorism of the Hindu Indian state and monies spent on these crimes. The intelligence agencies that commit such crimes, their funds are not audited and their functioning is clearly out of the purview of the Parliamentary Committees. Therefore, FATF must impose accountability on these agencies which operate out of control of the auditing authority and out of the purview of Parliamentary Committees.
