This is for the information of Sikhs and Sikhs should feel proud of the British Government in making this religious symbol possible for every Sikh to wear and carry.
I do not know why the Sikhs around the world cursed me when I decided to carry and wear my Kirpan into parliament as it is my constitutional right under article 25 to do so. Perhaps some Sikh organizations wanted to stump my efforts as they had been bought out by the Hindu Indian Union Government.
The SGPC which we call the Sikh Parliament cursed me too and its then President Gurcharan Singh Tohra wanted to know whether Mann wanted to do sword fencing (Gataka) in parliament. Largely the Sikhs made fun of my stand and even today if a Sikh journalist wants to have some fun he will ask me whether I would still carry my Kirpan into parliament. Well, at long last the joke and the fun Sikhs had at my cost is now on them. Retribution is mine sayeth the Lord and I will recompense it.
