Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar states that it is satisfying that it is now reported that the Dalai Lama can move about places, which were otherwise shut as THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State)wanted the meeting of Premier Narinder Modi and President Xi Jinping to be successful on 27th and 28th April 2018.
Prior to this meeting, China had made a condition that Premier Modi can only have a meeting with President Xi if the Dalai Lama was detained and not allowed to accept any invitation, whatever from any functionary of the Hindu state.
Since this news comes out that the Dalai Lama is allowed to move out of his Dharamshala headquarters it appears that the thaw between the Hindu state and Communist China is over, as later Primer Modi has not had fruitful talks with the Chinese and the Hindu state has rejected the China, Pakistan economic corridor.
As far as our party is concerned we think it would be beneficial for the Sikh’s to have the border between the Hindu state and Islamic Pakistan opened for trade with this Chinese initiative to open up trade.
We think there will be some fresh activity on the Indo China border.
