Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this must be a very big blow to the Communists, CPI and CPM as their idols Marx, Lenin and Stalin have been broken and shown disrespect. The right wing Hindu’s whose cronies they have served since 1947 say that all these idols are of foreigners, forgetting that the Aryan’s are also foreigners.
The Bible says-vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord and I will recompense it. The Communist’s, both the parties were boisterous when Indira Gandhi sent the Hindu states army with the aid of the British and Soviet army to attack with all force the stateless Sikh’s holiest shrine the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) at Amritsar in an ingress code named Operation Bluestar of 1984. In fact the two Communist parties, BJP-RSS, Lok Dal of Charan Singh and other Hindu organizations were all on the side of Indira Gandhi to press on with this mad misadventure which would never be forgotten or forgiven by the Sikh’s. The Congress party learnt its lesson long ago for its attack on Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) at Amritsar and now nature has taught the Communists for siding with the Congress party in 1984.
Our party is against Hindu vandalism but the Communists believed that the Hindu’s were running a secular state. Now perhaps they will learn that the Hindu’s and their state are thoroughly communal and full of hatred, spite and malice.
Since we knew that one day the Communists would cop it from the fanatic Hindu’s we kept quiet and mum. Still though they were the best of chums of the right wing fanatic fringe of Hindu’s and now that they have learnt their lesson we grieve for them. We hope they will dismount from the high horse they have been riding all these years and come down to earth and think of the plight of the minorities, the Dalit’s and the tribals. Save for China, the Communists now thrive nowhere.
When the Hindu state attacked the Sikh’s we stood alone but in total defiance and retaliation. We will sympathise with the Communists and they should not think they are alone.
