Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that we do not think that there is any room to dissent to what the outgoing Vice President Ansari has said about the danger to the minorities. The Hindu state has yet to take action against the perpetration of the crime of genocide of the Sikh peoples. In 2002 Mr. Narinder Modi the then Chief Minister of Gujarat had over 2000 innocent Muslim’s massacred and their women folk raped publicly by his party BJP-RSS scallywags and subsequently video-graphed these gory scenes for posterity. In 2013 in the same capacity of Chief Minister of Gujarat Mr. Modi had the legitimately held farmlands of 60,000 Sikh farmers confiscated, all with impunity. In brief the new Vice President Mr. Naidu should make a fresh assessment of his information as he has risen to a high constitutional post.
In 1984 the Hindu state sent its armed forces into the holy precincts of the Sikh’s Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) at Amritsar and bombarded it to rubble, killing 25,000 Sikh pilgrims and eliminating the new Sikh leadership under Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
In 1992 the BJP-RSS leader Mr. L. K Advani in cahoots with the then Union Premier Narsimha Rao had the Islamic Babri Masjid reduced to rubble. Suffice it to say that the minorities live in fear and uncertainty as there is no rule of law and the principles of justice do not function as they should in a democracy. There are no checks and balances in the Hindu states constitution. Presently the Union wants to change the constitutional special provisions for Jammu & Kashmir, whereby the Hindu state can change the demography of that Muslim state just as the Israeli’s have done in Palestine and the Chinese in Tibet. The demography of the Sikh Homeland is also being altered to make it into a majority Hindu state. We disagree.
