China ties: Past is prologue
Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann:
Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it is appreciable that Hindu Foreign Service officers have begun to accept our party’s stand on Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which our party has always maintained that for the Sikh’s who are landlocked and have no opening to the sea, this Corridor is essential for their economic welfare, in which Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana must join and trade must begin through the Wagah border in Amritsar and Hussainiwala border post in Ferozepur into Islamic Pakistan.
In the Punjab currently we have 46 lakh unemployed youth who must get employment. With the Congress party and BJP-RSS Union government the Sikh’s are now being kept out of the Union budget and so also the Kashmiri’s who are Muslim’s.
This bias is not going to evaporate in the coming decades as both these parties look for the majority Hindu vote and have totally and completely kept the Sikh’s, Muslim’s, Tribal’s, Dalit’s, Langiat’s and Christian’s out of their election manifestos and have not addressed the heinous crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing perpetrated on them by the Hindu state since it came into being in 1947.
Moreover all the rivers of our region drain into the Arabian Sea and we are referred to geographically as peoples of the Indus basin. For our region Karachi is the nearest sea port and the BRI will eventually find a passage into the Arabian Sea through the port of Gwador.
Since, joining this Corridor will lead to ample opportunities for transport communications and trade with West Asian countries and into the Mediterranean Sea, and northwards into the mid-Asian erstwhile republics of the Soviet Union and then to Russia and China, the Sikh’s can only prosper if this passage is opened. The Hindu state will not allow it because of its historic enmity with the Muslim’s, so the only option for the sui generis sovereign Sikh people is to have their own independent Sikh state which will be a buffer between three nuclear armed states- Communist China, Islamic Pakistan and THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) all of whom are daggers drawn and at each other’s throats, perennially.
Therefore, this Sikh sovereign buffer state would ensure everlasting peace and tranquillity in South Asia, benefiting all the three bellicose nuclear armed states.
We do hope that Sikh’s will give a serious thought to being independent and sovereign and out of the omnivorous belly of Hinduism which as per article 25 of its Constitution labels the Sikh’s as a part of the Hindu religion. This is intolerable as the Hindu religion has already sent Buddhism out of South Asia and consumed Jainism within its fold. Islam was chucked to the fringes of India in 1947, where it exists as Pakistan and Bangladesh.
It must be known that for the Jain’s, Buddhists, Langiat and Sikh religions the Indian sub-continent is the land of their birth. The Sikh’s are fighting a tough battle to keep their religion, language, culture, art and exclusiveness alive, despite the fact that ethnic cleansing and the crime of genocide has been committed against them by THIS.
