Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that our party wants peace in South Asia. If hostilities break out in South Asia, they would eventually mean a nuclear weapon war which we stateless Sikh’s would not want as our Homeland Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh, Ladhakh, and Kutch in Gujarat would become the nuclear battlefield resulting in the entire annihilation Sikh and Punjabi race.
Kashmir is in a delicate situation as the Hindu state with its armed forces are using illegal force which violate the Geneva Convention War. Premier Narinder Modi through his ultra right bellicose uttering’s is looking for trouble with his neighbours.
Mr. Modi’s internal domestic policies have alienated the minorities- the Sikh’s, Muslim’s, Christian’s, Tribal’s and the Schedule Caste.
The press that should be free of communal bias has also taken on a Hindutva hatred of the Sikh’s, Muslim’s, Christian’s, Tribal’s and Schedule Castes. We think that ultra right wing editors of the entire press English or vernacular have begun to call the shots. It is virtually becoming a land akin to the growth of Nazi Germany. This does not augur well as no Western country will support another genocide of the minorities.
Just now the Ontario legislature in Canada has passed a resolution against the genocide of the Sikh peoples by the Hindu State. The California state legislature has already passed resolution against the crime of genocide perpetrated by the Hindu State on the Sikh’s.
As we move along the encirclement of the Hindu State is gaining strength against its genocide policies aimed at the Sikh’s. It is time for the leaders of the Hindu state to look around and not bury their heads in the sand like ostriches. Might is not right but right is might. So our party thinks.
We hope the new Congress government in the Punjab will think of constituting a high powered Commission before which the Sikh’s can submit affidavits of the crimes that have been inflicted on them in the past since 1982. We would also want the government solving the crimes of sacrilege and the killings of Sikh’s that took place in district Faridkot and begin action on the Judge Zora Singh Commission report.
