Cardboard like this Military habitat is unsafe for the soldiers in Ladakh and mountainous terrain.- Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that in a locality where the Hindu Indian and Communist Chinese forces are eye ball to eye ball in a deadly confrontation, such cardboard habitation built for the Armed Forces is not any ingenuity of any Military genius. Firstly, this housing is on the plains and an easy target for the adversary.
Our party had written earlier that in a mountainous terrain concrete bunkers should be built on the slopes of the mountains and never on the ridges. We had said that if the Hindu state had no strategy of mountain warfare then the Hindu state should study the tactics of mountain warfare from the Swiss, who kept the Nazi’s away from occupying Switzerland. We have also observed that the Air Force has built sensitive structures on ridges, which become easy targets for the opponents.
We think that since the Hindu state has no martial tradition it is inviting a foe to target its sensitive structures un-professionally.
It has learned nothing of the past rulers of Delhi who woke up only when the invader had reached Panipat. Even then they said Abhi Dilli Door hai. Genes with time do not alter. Gandhi topi and RSS khakhi knickers Zindabad.
