Bhakra dam adjudged best-maintained project
Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that in 1989 the flood gates of Bhakra dam were opened by THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) to create a deluge in the Punjab homeland to teach the Sikh’s a lesson for struggling for the creation of an independent and sovereign Sikh for the Sikh’s. It is good that as per the administration of the Bhakra dam the Board has received recognition. However our party wants that the dams created on the five rivers of the Punjab- Beas, Ravi, Chenab and Jhelum along with Sutlej should be put under the control of the UN so that THIS cannot use these dams as a hydraulic weapon of war in future.
