Akal Takhat Sahib’s Jathedar and the SGPC must act and not remain a mollycoddled Sikh group of the radicalized Hindu BJP – RSS. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

The Tribune dated 04th April 2021

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that if the Akal Takaht Sahib’s Jathedar and the SGPC have raised their voice against the rising Hindutva radicalized and extremist policies of the ruling BJP – RSS Union Government of Premier Nerandra Modi, then they should resort to peaceful action instead of giving high winded speeches in the press and media.
Our Party is of the opinion that Sikh leaders must not merely believe in words but also act. That has been the history of the Sikh’s who do not take atrocities committed by the regime in mere words.
The fact is over the years having enjoyed political power the Badal Akali Dal and its leadership in the SGPC has got soft. It has committed economic, criminal and drug offences.
SGPC which is the elected Parliament of the Sikh Nation has been a lame duck Parliament since the last five years and the Jathedar’s and the SGPC besides the Badalites who are thick as thieves with the ruling extremists Hindu BJP – RSS Union Government of Premier Nerandra Modi are now scared to confront the BJP – RSS, which has mollycoddled them for the last several years. The Sikh’s want action and not words from these softened pleasure loving idle Sikh’s.
An English phrase describes the lives of these easy and pleasure loving Sikh’s like these which states “You cannot have your cake and eat it as well”.

Facta non Verba.
