After gaining independence in 1947 it is regrettable that the Hindu’s throw all their muck and waste into the holy river Beas. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the British gifted away their Indian empire to the Hindu’s in 1947. There was no referendum or plebiscite to gauge the minds of this great populace, much to the disadvantage of the Sikh’s who were also claimants to their separate sovereign state.
The Duke of Windsor formerly King Edward VIII famously told Winston Churchill that Mountbatten the Viceroy of India then gifted away their Indian empire to Jawaharlal Nehru and also his (Mountbatten’s) wife Edwina Mountbatten to Nehru. The love affair of Nehru and Edwina Mountbatten never remained hidden.
Since the Hindu’s have never had a sovereign state of their own in history save for the legendary state of Ayodhya they have yet to learn how to keep their river waters clean. The River Beas is a holy river of the Hindu’s as a legend states that it flows out of the dreadlocks of the Hindu saint Rishi Beas. Moreover, as the Aryans migrated into South Asia their holy text Rig Veda was compiled on the banks of river Beas. What filth and muck the Hindu state pours into this holy river of theirs is evident in the news of The Tribune above.
