Shriomani Akali Dal (Amritsar) is concerned about territories surrendered to Communist China in Ladakh in 2020. – Simranjit Singh Mann

The Tribune dated 14th September 2022.

Shriomani Akali Dal (Amritsar) States that it is all very well that Communist China has begun the withdrawal process. But our Party wants to know when will Communist China withdraw from one thousand square kms of territory it has occupied in Ladakh in 2020. 900 sq kms of Ladakh territory have been occupied in Depsang area, 20 sq. Kms in Galwan Valley, 12 sq. Kms at Hot Springs area near Kongk La, 65 sq. Kms on the North Bank of Pangong Tso, 20 sq. Kms. on Chushul. Our Party is not aware of how much ground has been surrendered in Kugrang River valley and the Char Ding Nala area. We also don’t how much territory has been lost around Karakoram pass. We also do not know about the areas occupied by Special Frontier Force at Guruing Hill, Magar Hill, Mukhpari, Rezang La and Rechin La on the Kailash Range. It is also reported in The Tribune that how much area has been taken back from the Kugrang River valley area. If Communist China as reported has withdrawn from PP -15, what about PP-17A? It is reported Hindu India’s best friend Vadimir Putan has praised Communist China’s President Xi Jinping, sky high, at Samarkand and left Premier Nerandra Modi high and dry. Our Party wants to know when territories in Ladakh will be librated as Ladakh was annexed by Lahore Darbar in 1834 and became part of the Sikh Empire,(1799-1849) therefore Sikh’s must be briefed on the latest position in Ladakh.
