The Aam Adami Party in Punjab, its Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Mann said that its government has started off Volvo luxury buses for Delhi Airport.
We think public money should be spent on welfare schemes for the poverty stricken Rangreta Sikhs, living in deplorable indigent conditions in villages. There is no nutritive food for their children. They are living like captured Jews use in Nazi Concentration Camps. They have torn clothes and small girls hair have become dreadlocks. They have no cooking gas and their electricity bills are astronomical and in-affordable. They have one room in which the couple live with their son and daughter in law, and if the family’s daughter comes visiting she and her husband also stay in that very room. Long ago Indira Gandhi had promised Roti, Kapra, Makan. Over the years nothing has reached these people who are living under conditions of starvation.

On the other hand, who can afford to travel by these luxury buses let loose by Mr. Bhagwant Mann? Only the rich can afford such luxury travel.

If the private sector can run buses, why should public money be spent on running luxury buses? If Mr. Bhagwant Mann feels that there is a mafia in the private sector, why can’t he smash it as the law to do so favour such action? Public money must be spent on education and providing nutritive food for the poor and jobs for them so that they can stand on their feed and live like honourable citizens like Mr. Bhagwant Mann and his party men.
