Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this is not a satisfactory and logical reply to the military disaster of 2020 in Ladakh where the armed forces surrendered 900 Sq. Kms. of territory to Communist China’s PLA.
Our Party wants to know when de – escalation took place why the Hindu state’s armed forces gave up commanding positions on the Kailash heights and other places before ascertaining that Communist China’s PLA had gone back to the Actual Line of Control that prevailed before April 2020. The Army Chief and Defence Ministry must answer.
Our Party also wants to know that since the Hindu Indian state had inherited the territories left behind intact by the British in 1947, why the new Hindu emerging state did not keep the borders between the Hindu state and Communist China at the McMahon Line?
After the surrender and debacle of 1962 the Hindu state had in a Parliamentary Resolution stated that it would not rest till the last inch of the surrendered 39,000 Sq. Kms. of territory to Communist China was restored.
Since the majoritarian’s either from the Congress party and now BJP- RSS have exercised power since 1947, will they give us an honest answer as we as Sikh’s are concerned that Ladakh was annexed by the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799-1849) in 1834 and these territories legitimately belong to the stateless Sikh’s.
