This is not a secular decision of the Supreme Court. Simranjit Singh Mann.

The Tribune dated 18th May 2022.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that with the rise of Hindutva and the BJP-RSS wanting to create a Hindu Rashtra Shivlings, henceforth will be found in various Sikh, Christians, Muslim, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Adivasi places of worships. This will mean that the shrines of all the minorities are going to be found with these Shivlings.

As such all non Hindu religions are going to find it very difficult to co-exist with the majoritarian Hindu state.

We do not think that the Supreme Court has given a honest and fair judgment on the Shivling. Our party is concerned about the passage of anti minority laws by the Modi Union Government such as AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Powers Act), CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act), NPR (National Population Register), NRC (National Register of Citizens). and we wonder why the Supreme Court is not sticking to its constitutional duty in the adjudication of these un-constitutional laws?

We are afraid the Supreme Court no longer respects the rule of law, Principles of Natural Justice, which form the basic structure of a democracy and the Constitution.
