The Tribune dated 16th April 2024

Our party thinks that the Army Chief should remain looking after the border areas of the country instead of taking visits abroad as Kashmir and Ladakh remain divided between three countries, whereas the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799-1849) had brought Kashmir and Ladakh into the Sikh Empire, Kashmir in 1819 and Ladakh in 1834.
It is our opinion that the Sikhs remain or attached to their erstwhile territories. The Hindutva regime which has never exercised sovereignty in its history save the mythical Ajodhya Kingdom.
These territories need the attention of the Defence Minister and the military Chief’s.
A four year tenure for a recruited soldier will further make the adversaries encroachments into Kashmir and Ladakh more frequent.
But the Big Ones of Hindutva think that Delhi is still faraway and they can rule without the mandate of the Minorities, Schedule Castes and Tribals.
