Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that we thank Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for looking after the Punjabis and Sikhs in his country, though back in this country the crimes perpetrated against them since 1984 like crimes of genocide, memoricide, vandalism and ethnocide have not been addressed till date.

The Sikh Parliament, the SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) which came into being in 1925 by an act of law, its elections have not been held for the last twelve years, rendering it a Lame Duck Parliament.

Punjabis and Sikhs must support Prime Minister Trudeau’s policies.
