The Indian Express and The Tribune, Dated 15th September, 2020

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that all that has been published in the Press, The Indian Express and The Tribune show that the Press and the ultra nationalist or majoritarians are creating an unnecessary hype and making people jump out of their skins when all the data that the press has shown which the Communist Chinese have collected about personalities in the Hindu Indian state is all in the public domain. All major countries intelligences agencies collect such information from the press and media.
Let us talk about what is happening in this country. Only recently the Sikhs for Justice was banned because it wanted to hold a referendum. The fact is that referendum and plebiscite are two major tools of democracy, whereby we can gauge the public’s opinion peacefully and democratically.
In 1948, it was Jawaharlal Nehru who took the case of Kashmir to the United Nations Security Council asking for a plebiscite for this unfortunate state and its people. The UN Security Council ordered a plebiscite to be held in Kashmir in 1948.
Will anyone explain why Hindu India did not raise a ruckus over this demand of Nehru? If a referendum is demanded to determine the wishes of the subjugated Sikh peoples, how the organization demanding it is banned by the Hindu state. Its leaders have been booked under the unconstitutional law The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967.
We wonder if this action is against this organization or does the Hindu Indian state want to ban two peaceful and democratic tools of democracy – Plebiscite and Referendum?

On the other hand, our Party has asked the Sikhs for Justice organization to tell us how does it intend to hold this referendum, as what we know, it is only the state or the UN that can hold these peaceful ways of determining the peoples wishes. Our information is that in the recent past only Britain has held two referendums and Spain’s state Catalonia has held these democratic practices. The Sikh’s for Justice have not been able to tell our Party how they intend to hold a referendum. The Union of India has wiser Jurists than us, as such does the Union think such a referendum is unlawful and criminal? Then what is the point of locking the stable after the horses have bolted. Before banning this organization, didn’t the wise Jurists of the Hindu state think about what they were doing?
Presently, any Sikh sending a message or SMS or sharing a post on Facebook is being arrested and tortured. Isn’t this treatment of the Sikh’s worse than what Communist China has done in collecting information about people in the public domain? The Hindu state on the other hand is listening into conversation by tapping telephones and the facebook?
We would also want to know is not the Hindu Indian state guilty of maintaining a Blacklist of the Sikh’s. Is it legal or where does the Constitution give the Union to put the Sikh’s on the Blacklist. If Communist China had made such a Blacklist of Hindu Indian leaders then our Party would have sympathized with the rabble rousers of the Hindu Indian press and media for creating such hype?
News has just come in that the Supreme Court has ordered the Punjab Government not to arrest a fugitive from justice, former Director General of Police Mr. Sumadh Saini who has committed the genocide of the Sikh people. This is grave injustice to the Sikh’s who have no representation in the Supreme Court. In 1984 the genocide of the Sikh peoples was carried out by the Union Government of late Premier Rajiv Gandhi. This genocide took place in front of the Supreme Court. The Delhi police and Hindu leaders led the scalawags from the front. The Hindu state’s armed forces remained in their respective cantonments. All institutions of the state remained silent just like Emperor Nero who watched Rome burning and enjoyed the entertainment by sipping wine and playing the fiddle. Similarly the worthy judges of the Supreme Court Mukul Rohatgi, Siddharth Luthra, Justice Ashok Bhushan have done just this by denying the Sikh’s justice in ordering that a genocidaire Sumadh Saini should not be arrested, though just the other day the Solicitor General of India arguing before the Supreme Court talked about the genocide of the Sikh people in the case he argued against Sajjan Kumar who had applied for bail.
Besides this, today has been a sad day for us Sikh people as in Amritsar the SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) set its Nihang Force against the peacefully gathered Sikh’s in the premises of the Darbar Sahib(The Golden Temple, Amritsar) who were beaten black and blue. The Punjab Police and the Punjab Government stood by as silent spectators while the peaceful protestors were being man handled. This incident which is condemnable reminds us of the Supreme Court in 1984, which like the Punjab Police and the Punjab Government stood and watched the crime of genocide being perpetrated on the hapless Sikh’s in Delhi and other cities of the state.
Our party also condemns the Union BJP – RSS Government led by Premier Neradra Modi for executing Ordinance Bill against the farmers who are the backbone of the country. Thousands of farmers coming out on the streets in the country against such Ordinances and the right wing ultra nationalist Union Government watching and suppressing these peaceful protests by the farmers is not only shameful but disgraceful.
In a nutshell, what the three organs of the state – Judiciary, Executive and the Legislature have done today makes our party to predict that the Hindu Indian state is moving rapidly towards an intolerable Fascist state. The press, the so called fourth pillar of the state has been no better but a collaborator in the crimes we have seen and heard of today on 15th September, 2020.
Today is a Black Day for the Sikh People’s.
