12 person rounded up ahead of Modi’s rally
Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann:
Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that Premier Narinder Modi who is visiting Kashmir would do something concert to solve the Kashmir imbroglio. Otherwise his armed forces are killing, maiming and torturing too many innocent Kashmiri’s- the elderly, women and children. The Hindu state should repeal the draconian AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Powers Act). He should also bring back the constitutional framework that prevailed before 1953. The killing of 43 innocents Sikh’s in village Chittisinghpura by the army in 2000 should be probed by the CBI. If the Modi government lets the Kashmir problem remain unsolved, eventually the UN Security Council resolution for a plebiscite for the entire Kashmir will have to be implemented.
The BPJ-RSS is getting a very bad name all over the world for its rule in curtailing the Human Rights of the minorities. Such a situation has the potential of getting worse if Premier Modi does not treat all citizens as equal and only favours the Hindu’s.
In the earlier days when Indira Gandhi was riding the high horse like Mr. Modi is doing presently and could not solve the Sikh problem, similarly the Kashmir problem is getting worse and eventually it will go out of control from Mr. Modi’s hands. That will not be very good as Russia, China and Pakistan are closing ranks and they have virtually surrounded militarily THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State).
